The Author And His Protege

My name is Jorg Mardian and I am a Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner, and Registered Holistic Nutritionist, with many years experience in nutrition research, counselling, public speaking and writing.

Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner (ROHP) is the designation given by the International Organization of Nutrition Consultants (IONC) to qualified healthcare professionals who specialize in maintaining or restoring biochemistry and physiology in the body for optimum health and disease prevention. They assess the unique dietary and nutritional requirements of an individual and utilize a full spectrum of customized naturotherapies including: diet and nutritional supplements, detoxification, and drainage. Practitioners must meet current and progressive IONC upgrade standards as member practitioners.

Registered Holistic Nutritionists/Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultants (RHNs) are professionals trained in Natural Nutrition and complementary therapies. Our principal function is to educate about the benefits and health impact of optimal holistic nutrition.

I am a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Functional Specialist with a twenty five year background in competitive powerlifting strength training and instructing. I teach fitness in an integrated fashion, using strength, bodyweight, functional, density, or HIIT training. Whether the goal is to attain elite fitness, or simply to improved balance, posture, and lean muscle growth, I can help.

Additionally, I am a Certified Kinesiology Specialist (CKS) and specialize in shoulder, back and knee injuries. I apply the study of human movement to enhance corrective training techniques, muscle imbalances and muscle recruitment patterns. I bridge the divide between rehabilitation and fitness with unique, yet proven techniques of Radial Kinesiology exclusive to my practice.

  6. Hey Jorg. Great stuff here. At Hybrid Fitness, we’re also big proponents of HIIT & bodyweight training, among others. Scrapper (Body By Fish in your blogroll) is on board as well. We’ve developed some great stuff together. Keep up the good work! I’ll be checking in regularly.
