What Is Your # 1 Health Priority?

Filed under: Health - General — Jorg Mardian RHN, CPT @ 6:29 am

PeppersIf you could improve your health in any way, which aspect would you choose? Losing weight; looking and feeling younger; or being free of illness? Maybe all of the above? Everyone wants to see that trim and healthy body staring at them in the mirror. Problem is, our harmful habits have been practiced so long, we have a hard time even imagining being in shape again. But don’t despair; there’s hope. Many times the cause is simply an inactive lifestyle and unhealthy diet. The solution is eating nutritious foods and exercising, for long term good health. It’s that simple folks – no fads, no crazy restrictions, no extremes.

Get started by overlooking the failures of yesterday, and looking to the successes of tomorrow. Never get depressed about your present health; let it serve as an incentive for change. Then stop talking about it and invest some time and energy in yourself.

Here’s the good news. Research has provided solid evidence that dietary changes and a good exercise program offer astounding benefits in preventing disease. Transforming your life and bringing about positive results takes only a small period of time. The outcome of your effort is the return of proper body function and balance.

So don’t think of good health as some complex mystery. It’s your natural state of existence; all you have to do is give it what it needs. It will take some discipline — it will take making it your number one priority — but the results will be profound.
